About our Internship Opportunities

Alpha Phi Foundation Canada offers internship opportunities that provide hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, digital marketing, and philanthropy.

Our intern plays a key role in helping us build awareness, engage our community, and support our mission of advancing women’s heart health and empowering Alpha Phi members across Canada.

Interns gain valuable skills, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a real impact, both online and within our network of chapters.

Meet Merrin - Our Marketing and Communications Intern

We’re so excited to introduce Merrin Rodgers as our 2025 Alpha Phi Foundation Canada Marketing & Communications Intern!

Merrin is a third-year student at Western University and a proud member of the Theta Eta Chapter. Her passion for marketing and her love for Alpha Phi shine through in everything she does.

Here’s what she has to say about this exciting opportunity:

“From the moment I walked through the doors of Alpha Phi during recruitment, I knew I was where I belonged.  I’m so thankful for everything it has brought into my life - my friendships, my motivation, and the confidence to be the best version of myself.
Marketing, especially on Instagram, is something I truly love. Whether it’s planning out a feed or bringing creative ideas to life, I find so much joy in knowing that what I’m doing is making a difference and supporting a meaningful cause. I feel incredibly honoured to work alongside such inspiring women from diverse backgrounds and to build real marketing connections through this experience.
Being able to contribute to something I know will grow and make an impact, especially here in Canada, is a privilege. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and to serve as the Alpha Phi Foundation Canada Marketing Intern."

Hear from our Past Intern

"Being the first Alpha Phi Foundation Canada intern has given me countless opportunities and an overall incredible experience. In my time in this role, I was able to design and implement the first digital marketing strategy and merchandising opportunities, connecting active members and alumnae to our philanthropy. Additionally, I planned and hosted the first annual nationwide “Move Your Phi’t” event, where chapters, alumnae, and individuals partook in a virtual race to raise awareness and funds for Women’s Heart Health and Canadian Foundation initiatives.
Being the 2024-2025 Foundation Intern was an invaluable experience, extending my leadership opportunities beyond those I gained on Theta Eta’s Executive Council and to the larger mission of Alpha Phi."
AOE,
