About our Internship Opportunities
Alpha Phi Foundation Canada offers internship opportunities that provide hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, digital marketing, and philanthropy.
Our intern plays a key role in helping us build awareness, engage our community, and support our mission of advancing women’s heart health and empowering Alpha Phi members across Canada.
Interns gain valuable skills, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a real impact, both online and within our network of chapters.
Meet Hannah - Our Marketing and Communications Intern
We’re so excited to introduce Hannah Arkell as our 2026 Alpha Phi Foundation Canada Marketing & Communications Intern!
Here’s what she has to say about this exciting opportunity:
"Alpha Phi has truly become one of the most meaningful parts of my life. When I joined, I never expected to find a community that would shape me the way this one has. Alpha Phi has given me a home away from home and a circle of women who have become my forever best friends. Being surrounded by such a creative, driven, and supportive group of women has pushed me in ways I never expected. I’ve always been deeply passionate about marketing and building meaningful brand experiences, and Alpha Phi has further strengthened that passion. Through leadership roles I've held and hands-on opportunities, I’ve been able to create and contribute in ways that feel genuinely fulfilling. This chapter has trusted me and given me space to grow both personally and professionally.
That’s why I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Alpha Phi Foundation Canada Marketing Intern. Being able to merge my love for philanthropy, creativity, and community all in one role feels like such a full-circle moment. I’m honoured to represent something I care so deeply about and to give back to an organization that has given me so much love."
Hear from our Past Intern
"Being the first Alpha Phi Foundation Canada intern has given me countless opportunities and an overall incredible experience. In my time in this role, I was able to design and implement the first digital marketing strategy and merchandising opportunities, connecting active members and alumnae to our philanthropy. Additionally, I planned and hosted the first annual nationwide “Move Your Phi’t” event, where chapters, alumnae, and individuals partook in a virtual race to raise awareness and funds for Women’s Heart Health and Canadian Foundation initiatives.
Being the 2024-2025 Foundation Intern was an invaluable experience, extending my leadership opportunities beyond those I gained on Theta Eta’s Executive Council and to the larger mission of Alpha Phi."
